Geneva Chapter: Networking Event
Published July 4, 2026 by Elsie Gallegos in
Thank you so much for joining us and our P&G friends for a high-energy morning full of great ideas and even better company!
Relive the highlights here!
I had the honor of moderating the 𝗣&𝗚 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸’𝘀 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity — held at Chez Vayner, with thanks to Gary Vaynerchuk and the VaynerX team for hosting us.
Four trailblazers I deeply respect, each bringing a different kind of intelligence to the table:
⭐ Jim Stengel — Industry Intelligence. Decades of pattern recognition on what drives growth no model has been trained to replicate. Our very own 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The Jim Stengel Company
⭐ Laura Knebusch — Commercial Intelligence. Turning AI into brand decisions, P&L impact, and real scale. Georgia-Pacific LLC
⭐ Chad Reynolds — People Intelligence. Understanding people — motivation, behavior — at a depth most marketers assume they already have. Vurvey Labs
⭐ Andrew Swinand — Creative Intelligence. Generating and producing at a speed and scale the industry has never seen. Inspired Thinking Group (ITG)
We didn’t talk about AI as a tool. We talked about AI as a cognitive shift.
Here’s the idea we keep coming back to:
⭐ 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 — the analytical, the operational, the “get me the answer fast” side of marketing — faster than any human can
⭐ 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻. It raises the stakes on it. Taste. Judgment. Empathy. Curiosity. Intuition. The ability to look at what AI hands you and ask, “Is this actually right? Does it make sense?”
I call this the 𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗. The marketers who win in this next era won’t be the ones who defer to AI — they’ll be the ones who know how to interrogate it, challenge it and toggle between left and right in an iterative flow.
𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿:
⭐ 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 — a phrase that treats people as one checkpoint in a machine’s process.
⭐ I think about it as 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 — AI surrounds the work, accelerates it, generates options at a scale no team could match. But the human is still the center everything radiates from. The judgment. The intent. The why behind the what. 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽.
Huge thanks to Jim, Laura, Chad, and Andrew for bringing real rigor and real stories to this conversation — and to Vayner for the home base on the Croisette that made it all come together.

Geneva Chapter: Networking Event
Published by Elsie Gallegos in
The best networking doesn’t feel like networking. It feels like a conversation worth continuing.
Last night was a wonderful reminder of exactly that. New connections were made, ideas were challenged, experiences were shared, collaborations started to emerge and, perhaps most importantly, everyone brought a genuine willingness to learn from and support one another.
That is what makes the P&G Alumni Geneva community unique. It brings together accomplished leaders united by a shared mindset: staying curious, giving back and helping others succeed.
As a committee, our ambition is to keep creating the conditions for these conversations to happen—and to grow their impact. In the months ahead, we will be announcing exciting new partnerships and initiatives that will expand our network, enrich our discussions and create even more opportunities for our community.
We will now take a well-deserved summer break, we will be sharing the confirmed agenda for September till December with the registration links over the coming days.
The strength of a community is measured by what its members choose to contribute. Thank you for your generosity, your curiosity and your willingness to make this community stronger. The best chapters are still ahead of us.
Have a wonderful summer—we look forward to seeing you again in September!

Geneva Chapter: Annual General Meeting Event
Published June 3, 2026 by Elsie Gallegos in
Last night we held the P&G Alumni Geneva Annual General Meeting — and it was a reminder of why this community still matters so much.
The formal AGM gave us a chance to reflect on a strong year of events, connections, career support and community building, while also looking ahead to an even more ambitious 2026–2027 agenda. From speed networking to founder conversations, board-readiness sessions, job market discussions and future collaborations, the energy in the room was clear: this is not just an alumni network. It is a living ecosystem of experience, generosity and reinvention.
We were also privileged to hear from Loïc Tassel, whose reflections on the future of business, brands and consumers landed with real force.
One message stood out: in a world drowning in data, human understanding is becoming more valuable — not less. Spreadsheets can reveal patterns. Dashboards can create confidence. But the deepest truths still come from getting close to people: their habits, tensions, emotions, workarounds and unspoken needs.
That is a timely reminder for anyone building brands, teams or businesses today. The tools are changing fast. The channels are fragmenting. The pace is brutal. But the work still begins with people.
And after the formal part, the cocktail dinatoire gave everyone the best part of alumni life: proper conversations, old friendships, new introductions, and the chance for those informal exchanges where real opportunities often begin.
A big thank you to everyone who joined, contributed, voted, challenged, laughed and stayed to connect.
Looking forward to building the next chapter together.

Moments like this reinforce something important: culture is not just a concept, it’s an experience that leaves a lasting mark. It’s what enables the creation of meaningful relationships that go beyond work, connecting talented people with shared values and sustaining a unique collective energy over time.
Companies that achieve this don’t just build teams… they build communities. And that’s where a real competitive advantage emerges.
And thank you WHAT CREATIVO for beautifully capturing the essence of the night.
China Chapter: Fundraising Event for the Foundation

🎉 The fun fundraising continues — and the impact is growing!
Huge thanks to our P&G alumni community in China 🇨🇳 for the incredible momentum from two recent events:

The December evening also brought creativity and heart:
🎶 An original song by David Shi, auctioned by Kimmie Wu, raised an additional $2K for the Foundation.
Grateful for the continued leadership and generosity of Hanxi Zhao and Laura Xiong, and to every alum who shows up, gives back, and helps grow this global community.

Atlanta Chapter 2026 Leaders Reunion
Published by Elsie Gallegos in
Cool leaders from the Procter & Gamble Alumni Network – Atlanta Chapter.
Yesterday, the board members of the PGAN Atlanta chapter gathered for the first time this year to plan for 2026. A number of our members couldn’t make it this time, but are very much part of our team.
Each year, our chapter hosts a signature speaker event featuring CEOs, C-suite leaders, and senior leaders who are P&G alumni. We also invite business leaders, community leaders, and MBA students to join us, and our event is always open to all. The goal is to create meaningful connections, provide enrichment, and support philanthropy, all in one place.
As we plan for this year’s events, we would love more volunteers to help bring these gatherings to life. If you are a P&G alum in the greater Atlanta area, we would love to have you join us! You could DM me and/or join our chapter’s LinkedIn group: https://lnkd.in/eJsiVATa

UAE Chapter Investment Series Event
Published by Elsie Gallegos in
Our first session in our Investment Series has been a raving success! Thank you, Waqi Munim, for sharing your wisdom. Here are the three takeaways Waqi shared with us:
1. Invest in yourself (your mindset, your health, your relationships, your skills, and your networks; best investment you will ever make.)
2. Invest like a pro—maximizing the upside while mitigating the downside risk. (Risk-taking is not gambling; it’s a measured attempt to get the best outcome with strong progressive guardrails.)
3. Invest consistently and progressively in building a portfolio of robust working assets. (Take chances with 10-15% of your wealth; it will spice up your life and can supercharge your wealth.)
If you want to stay in touch with Waqi Munim, you can contact him via his LinkedIn profile or via his website, www.waqimunim.com, where you can also download his book, The Pursuit of Joyful Prosperity.
A huge thank you to our volunteers, Heena Bahirwani and Hamid Nasir.
