It’s that time of year again to plan for our Annual Wine Country Gathering, and we’re aiming for an even bigger and better event this time around. Our generous chapter board member and host, Karen DeGolia, graciously invites you to her winery, Limerick Lane, for three exciting events over the weekend of July 26th to 27th.
SF Bay Area Chapter Event
– Date: Friday, July 26, 2024
– Location: Limerick Lane Cellars at 1023 Limerick Ln, Healdsburg, CA 95448
– Hosts: SF Chapter Board and Limerick Lane Cellars. We’re delighted to be joined by some global chapter leaders who will also be in town for a PGAN Leadership Summit.
– Itinerary:
4:00 pm Welcome at Winery – Hosted by Shantini, Julie, and Diane
4:10 pm Rocky Knoll Tour: A guided walk-and-talk about the vineyard & winemaking (led by Karen). Don’t miss the chance for an on-location photo opportunity.
5:00 pm Farmhouse Reception – Poolside Wine Tasting & Networking with Foundation and Global Chapter Leaders
8:00 pm Casual Dinner Meetup for those staying nearby – Location TBD
– Cost: $75 per person for catering; wine is complimentary, courtesy of Karen.

– 5:00pm Welcome Poolside with toasts by Deb Kielty (P&G Alumni Foundation Board Chair and former P&G VP)
– then stroll over to tables set in the historic 1910 vineyard for an exceptional dinner prepared by the acclaimed Sonoma restaurant The Girl & The Fig which will be perfectly paired with wines from the estate plus comments by P&G alum and Limerick Lane Cellars Karen Francis DeGolia
Friday, July 26 or Sunday, July 28, 2024 – Golf at Mayacama Golf Club $300 per person if playing with Karen. Fees include required caddies.
Enjoy the private club and Jack Nicklaus designed course deemed one of the top-100 courses in America. Tee times TBD based on course and your availability. Let us know your timing on the RSVP form in the comments.
Wines are available for optional purchase onsite, online, or by joining the wine club with 10% of proceeds donated to the P&G Alumni Foundation. in collaboration with P&G Foundation – virtual/in-person event
If you are in Northern California and interested in alumni activities, we welcome you to the P&G Alumni SF Bay Area chapter!
In true Northern California style, we are launching with a beautiful event in Sonoma. Please join us in Healdsburg for an exclusive wine-tasting afternoon with P&G Alum Karen Francis DeGolia at her winery, Limerick Lane. This Vineyard Tour, Talk, & Tasting will benefit the P&G Alumni Foundation.
About our host alum and the experience:
Karen has the enviable role as the Owner/Proprietor of Limerick Lane Cellars, a 53-acre California estate winery. Karen will give us a tour of her 113-year-old vineyards and the winemaking cellar and lead a talk on wines – e.g., vineyard care, cellar needs, bottling, marketing, tasting tips, etc.
She will also offer both a virtual and in-person optional tasting. Wines are available to purchase and ship before the event, with Karen graciously donating 10% of the proceeds to the P&G Alumni Foundation. For alums in the area on July 14, we will also offer a fun in-person experience, including an optional vineyard dinner.
