in collaboration with Smithsonian Folklife Festival – please register by June 26!

Where: Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, Capital Gallery (west)
600 Maryland Ave SW, Washington, DC
Suite 2001 (take elevator to 2nd Floor)
The building entrance is near the corner of 7th St and Maryland Ave SW where the L’Enfant Metro station is. There is limited metered street parking, and there is also a paid parking garage on C St SW and Maryland Ave SW. If you are taking the metro – exit at L’Enfant Plaza metro station from the Maryland Ave & 7th St side. Upon entry to the building, all guests must sign in and receive a visitor badge. A Smithsonian representative will be there to welcome you and escort you to the 2nd floor.

The event schedule:
11:00am – 11:15am – Meet and greet
11:15am – 11:30am – Serve lunch
11:30am – Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage Overview
12:00pm: Walk to Folklife Festival on the National Mall (entering on 7th St SW between Jefferson and Constitution)
12:10pm: Festival Overview and VIP walk-through of the Indigenous Voices of the Americas program
12:30pm: Behind-the-scenes special event for P&G alumni
12:45pm: Explore on your own.
