Join Us to help City Harvest collect food after the Union Square Market Greenmarket Food Rescue.

These food collection efforts help City Harvest collect fresh, unsold produce from one of the city’s largest Greenmarkets and then redistribute it to food pantries and soup kitchens around the city. Volunteers play a critical role in collecting the food and this is a great opportunity

This is the only way we can ensure that the food both expected and needed by the food pantries and soup kitchens we serve will be received as planned.

When: Saturday, July 18, 2026

Time: 4:30PM-6:30PM

Cost: FREE EVENT – 10 SLOTS – We need to deliver 10 volunteers to ensure a fully staffed list. Please only sign up if you can definitely come.
