Gratitude in Action: China Alumni Giving
Published August 24, 2026 by pgalums in
Autumn has a way of reminding us what growth looks like when it’s finally ready to be gathered in, and this season, our alumni community in China showed us this beautifully.
Since 2023, 45 alumni and 1 organization have opened their hearts (and wallets) with $~45,000 in gifts. This year alone, 35 alums in China have already given $~20,000, a 25% jump from last year. Behind every dollar is someone who believed a little generosity could go a long way, including two especially generous gifts this quarter that reminded us just how far kindness travels.
Earlier this year, for International Women’s Day, the P&G Fund for Gender Equality matched alumni gifts up to $50,000, doubling the impact behind this year’s theme, “Give to Gain” because when we lift women up, we lift up everyone around them.
The 2026 Global Grant Program opened applications earlier this year, and our Grant Showcase gave alumni a warm, honest look at how these dollars turn into real opportunity. Two applications from China are being evaluated this year.
We’re nearing 40 donors in China this year (our goal is 50) and $20K raised, already well past last year’s $13K. Every one of you got us here.
This is gratitude in action. However you’re able — a gift, a share, a story passed along — we’d love for you to be part of what happens next.
