2021 Global Conference: Reskilling Society 

Chief Marketing Officer for the Americas Region at Google Lisa Gevelber spoke of how to create an equitable job market. “How do we ensure that the opportunities created by technology can be shared with everyone”, she asked and stated that Google wanted to make a disproportionate impact. She told the audience how Google first helped veterans to get jobs by linking them to jobs that would suit their existing skillset before expanding the process to other groups.
