SUMMARY:Boston & NE Chapter Board Series: How to earn trust and create value as a Director
DESCRIPTION:Getting appointed to a board is only the beginning. The real challenge is becoming a board director who creates meaningful value\, earns trust quickly\, and contributes effectively across very different boardroom dynamics. \nStrong board directors combine preparation\, judgment\, communication\, and self-awareness. They know when to challenge\, when to support\, and how to contribute without overstepping into management. Yet many professionals enter the boardroom without fully understanding what successful board participation looks like in practice. \nIn this webinar\, we explore what separates effective board directors from those who struggle to gain influence or impact. Bringing together perspectives from experienced board leaders\, operators\, and Boardway’s data-driven insights\, we discuss the practical tools\, behaviors\, and intentions that help directors succeed once they are in the room. \nMore importantly\, attendees will walk away with practical guidance on how to prepare for board service\, navigate board dynamics\, contribute with credibility\, and continue evolving as a trusted board member over time. \n\nEpisode: 3 of 3\nDate: Thursday June 18\, 2025\nTime: 15:00 – 16:00 (CET)  //  9:00 AM – 10:00 AM (EST)\n\n\nREGISTER HERE

DESCRIPTION:The AI revolution is not coming — it is already here. Those who understand the fundamentals now will lead. Those who wait will be left behind. There has never been a more important moment to start. We’ve been building for our community: the AI Academy — a multiple-session workshop series designed specifically for us. \nNo technical background required. No jargon. Just practical\, hands-on sessions where you leave with something you actually built. \nThe series will be facilitated by P&G Alumni Internal Comms Lead: Alina Merchant along with other experts. Series at a glance: \n\nAI Foundations & Prompt Mastery\, Trainer: Alina Merchant\,\nAI-Powered Career Accelerator\, Trainer: Shams Mawji & Aly Mawji\nPersonal AI Chief of Staff\, Create Knowledge Management\, Trainer: Aqeel Ahmad\nContent & Creativity for Your Business\, Trainer: Chris Nwosu\nPersonal Finance Management\, Trainer: Shams Mawji & Aly Mawji\nAI-Powered LinkedIn Content Creation\, Trainer: Krystian Jablonski\n\nEach session is 90 minutes. And every single session ends with you leaving with something tangible you built yourself. \nWe Start with AI Foundations & Prompt Mastery\n📅 [2nd July\, 2026] | 🕕 [6:30PM] | 📍 [Venue: Visible when you login the P&G Alumni Portal to register] \nThe truth is\, AI is only as useful as the way you communicate with it. In 90 minutes\, we’ll cut through the noise on what AI actually is (and what it isn’t)\, and then go deep on the skill that changes everything: how to prompt effectively. \nWe’ll cover the basics of AI foundation\, anatomy of a well-structured prompt and explore techniques that most people have never tried. This workshop is for you\, if: \n\nYou use ChatGPT or similar tools occasionally\, but feel you’re only scratching the surface of what they can do\nYou’re a senior professional with limited time and zero interest in learning to code — you just want tools that work\nYou’re curious about AI but intimidated by the jargon\, the hype\, and the pace of change\nYou want to understand the fundamentals before everyone else moves too far ahead\n\nSeats are limited to keep the session interactive. \nAbout the Trainer for AI Foundations & Prompt Master: Alina Merchant \nAlina is Co-founder and Director of WeCrunch\, an AI-powered data analytics company transforming how FMCG brands harness data for smarter decision-making. Before co-founding WeCrunch\, she built her career in brand building and marketing leadership at global corporations including Procter & Gamble and The Hershey Company\, where she developed deep expertise in consumer understanding\, brand strategy\, and commercial excellence. \nAlina is not a technologist. She is a business leader who discovered\, through daily practice and creating solutions for FMCGs\, that AI is one of the most powerful tools available to professionals today: for business and for how they run their own lives. It simplifies noise\, sharpens thinking\, and reclaims time for other things that matter. \nThat personal experience is what drives her passion for helping others get there too. Her approach is practical\, jargon-free\, and firmly rooted in the reality of senior professional life: real challenges\, real tools\, and results you can see the very next morning. \n\nDETAILED AGENDA\n\n6.30pm Registration and networking\n7.00 Welcome and network update\n7.10 Member spotlights (register your interest in the link below)\n7.20 Main session\n8.20 Q&A and closing\n\nCONTRIBUTION:\nAED 100.
