"40 Under 40" of 2017

 The P&G Alumni Network has initiated a "40 Under 40" event in 2017 to recognize the accomplishments  and  contributions of our younger, highly-talented alumni. We hope to encourage greater engagement with younger alumni, enhance career op­ portunities, and help create a long-term pipeline for tomorrow's senior executives and business leaders.

The 9-member 40 Under 40 Committee, which selected the winners, included rep­ resentatives of the P&G Alumni Network Board, several P&G Alumni Chapters, key alumni, a P&G executive and at least one past Alumni Award winner.

All alumni may submit nominations and nominate themselves. Three committee members reviewed each nominee .

The criteria for selection includes:

  • Career Trajectory: How fast they have continued to advance after leaving P&G.
  • Business Leadership: This includes impact in technical fields as well, such as R&D and supply chain, etc.
  • Thought Leadership: Their sharing of knowledge/expertisein their respective industry/field.
  • Community Engagement: Are they do­ ing other great things beyond their day job, such as volunteer work or working with nonprofits.
  • Network Potential: Will they make the Alumni Network stronger.


This program will be measured by the number and quality of  nominees  and the global engagement of Alumni in the process. Further long-term outcomes to track include greater attendance at the 2017 conference by younger members, and more involvement in network volunteer activities from younger members of the network.
